200W Wet Location Industrial Emergency Light

Product Description

A recent OSHA inspection at your central distribution center highlighted the need for outdoor backup lights along your warehouses and truck bays, which are often prone to harsh weather and water washdowns. You realize these units can get expensive, and you need A LOT of them.

Our solution: Buy a bunch of NEMA 4X remote "bug-eye" floodlights and just two or three 200W Wet Location Industrial Emergency Lights to fulfill your entire facility's egress lighting needs!

Construction 

Rather than a steel or plastic housing, the IEL-12-200-9W is constructed with a fiberglass cabinet that is resistant to corrosion and sun-damage. An industrial gray finish is standard, and there are several terminal connectors on the housing flanks to connect remote flood lights. Each unit we sell is individually tested in the factory to NEMA 4X standards, a series of brutal wash-down tests to ensure the gaskets and housing stay completely sealed. 

This model includes two (2) top-mounted  9-watt wedge base incandescent, Par36-style heads. These heads are fully-adjustable and molded from impact-resistant thermoplastic in a black color. The 12V Ni-Cd battery pack inside carries a 200W load rated at 90 minutes, so you can remotely power other fixtures, exit signs or up to twenty-one (21) 9W remote heads!

Battery Testing

This 12V wet location emergency light comes with a pack of AAA-sized nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries. These shrink-wrapped batteries combine to maintain a 200W load rated for at least 90 minutes, and requires only 24-hours to fully re-charge. 

For periodic CSA-mandated testing, a push-to-test switch on the side of the housing allows maintenance personnel to quickly ascertain the operational status of the fixture and lamp load. Above the switch is a dual diagnostic LED display indicating AC/ON and High Charge. Ask about our Autotest feature as well!
