The GSVH18M-2LA is perfect for Class 1 Hazardous (Classified) Locations where electronics must be sealed so as not to detonate explosive vapors and gases in the air. The unit is rated to withstand up to 248°Fahrenheit an complies with UL 844 Standards for Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B,C and D.

Construction

The GSVH18M-2LA has a rugged, die cast aluminum housing with a corrosion-resistant dark bronze powder coat finish. A heat-resistant polycarbonate shield protects the dual-axis adjustable 4W LED MR16 heads, which can be positioned and locked by hand. This Class 1 Division 2 Emergency Light has a removable front panel that is sealed with a high-heat silicone gasket that prevents the intrusion of explosive gases.

Battery

The GSVH18M-2LA includes a lead calcium battery which is more resistant to corrosion, overcharging, gassing and has a higher cranking amperage than standard SLA or Ni-Cd batteries. There is 10W of leftover energy in the battery to power other remote units or extend the runtime past 90 minutes.
