Your Electrical Contracting company has been called to replace over two-dozen black plastic exit signs in a historic apartment building. Because it's an older structure, a central diesel generator is kept on standby to power the exit and emergency lighting units. The problem is finding so many replacement units with the same black finish. Where can you find that many UL924 compliant black exit signs without batteries?

Construction

The CLX-RB-AC is constructed with a flame and corrosion resistant ABS plastic housing with a solid black finish. This plastic unit is perfect for hallways and offices that require stylish fixtures. The AC Only Exit Sign Black Housing includes two removable red or green 'EXIT' stencils and a solid backplate, so you can make this egress marker single or double sided. The stencil plates have knockout directional chevrons (arrows), adapting it to any exit strategy.

The CLX-RB-AC also includes a mounting canopy that allows you to mount to a ceiling or on the side of the sign for wall / flag mount configuration.

Battery

This CLX-RB-AC model does not include a battery and is intended to run off the alternating current provided by a standby generator, inverter or UPS when a power outage occurs.
