The Black LED Exit Sign, or CLX-B-BB, uses energy efficient red LEDs that consume minimal electricity. The fixtures come with a 5-year warranty, can be single or double-sided when mounting, and includes a 90-minute battery backup system with push-to-test button.

Construction

The CLX-B-BB is constructed with a flame and corrosion resistant ABS plastic housing with a solid black finish. This black finish is perfect for apartment buildings, hallways and offices that require stylish fixtures. The Battery Backup Exit Sign Red LED Black Housing includes two removable red 'EXIT' stencils and a solid backplate, so you can make this egress marker single or double sided. The stencil plates have knockout directional chevrons (arrows), adapting it to any exit strategy. 

The CLX-B-BB also includes a mounting canopy that allows you to mount to a ceiling or on the side of the sign for wall / flag mount configuration.

Battery

This CLX-B-BB model includes a maintenance-free, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack. It provides emergency backup power to the exit sign for at least 90 minutes, and only requires 24-hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd is the longest lasting battery type available, lasting an average of 15 years.

A push-to-test switch and LED pilot light on the bottom of the exit sign housing allows you to test the emergency readiness of the fixture. The LED will flash if any fault is detected in the circuit, LED lights or battery.
