The Black Outdoor LED Emergency Wall Pack with Photocell is a dual-purpose fixture that provides ‘normally on’ and emergency egress lighting functionality. This type of fixture is popular because it is a two-for-one solution that eliminates the need to install separate fixtures. A photocell is included, which turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, automating operation. If power is lost at any time, the unit will immediately turn on and provide emergency lighting for at minimum of 90-minutes. The slim design adds an aesthetic appeal while the black, baked on powder coat finish blends well with darker surfaces.
Construction
The low profile housing is constructed from die-cast aluminum. Internal components and the powerful 15W lamps are protected by the fully gasketed housing. This model snaps together for easy installation conduit knockouts are provided for connecting to a junction box.
Maintenance
The long-lasting nickel-cadmium battery backup system has a 7 to 10 year average lifespan. Test the status of the backup system by pressing the push-to-test button on the bottom of the unit.
