As the Supply Officer, your final task is to replace defective explosion proof globe fixtures inside and outside the paint locker spaces. The SXPJ26-F-U-GG-P-EM is a truly versatile harsh location fixture, tested to the highest UL and ETL standards for highly corrosive, wet environments with high concentrations of explosive vapors like paint fumes.

Construction

The ballast housing, outlet box and lens retaining ring on the SXPJ26-F-U-GG-P-EM is constructed with corrosion resistant aluminum with a white baked-on powder epoxy for increased protection against salt water. It features external and internal heat dissipation fins that maintains internal components in ambient temperatures as high as 104°F. This model includes a 3/4" pendant mounting bracket for ceiling installation.

To protect and seal the lamp inside, our Class I & II Division 1 & 2 Hazardous Location CFL Light with Emergency Backup has a heat resistant internally prismatic glass globe which provides a full 360° lighting pattern. An electro-polished stainless steel wire guard provides added protection to the lamp and globe. The lamp can be accessed via a gasketed double-lead threaded screw-on globe ring.

Light Source

The SXPJ26-F-U-GG-P-EM includes a 26W 4-Pin compact fluorescent lamp (not included). 

Emergency Ballast

In the event of a powerplant failure, the SXPJ's secondary emergency ballast kicks in and keeps the CFL lit at a reduced light output. Runtime is no less than 90 minutes when fully charged.

The housing includes a sealed LED indicator light/test switch for performing scheduled maintenance.
