Yes there is! Combine the characteristics of an exit marker and backup lighting unit with our energy-saving Class 1 Division 1 LED Edge Lit Exit Sign and Emergency Light. It includes battery backup, keeping the red or green 'EXIT' legend and lighting heads running long after a power outage. The XPEH is ideal for harsh industrial locations where explosive gas or vapors are present in a contained atmosphere. 

Construction

The XPEH is composed of a copper-free cast aluminum housing with a baked-on epoxy powder coat finish that will not dent, peel or corrode. A hinged and gasketed door on the front of the housing is secured with stainless steel bolts and allows maintenance teams to inspect the inner workings of this exit light combo. The 'EXIT' faceplate is made of acrylic, and comes in both single and double face models.

This Explosion Proof LED Edge Lit Exit Sign and Emergency Light model carries two (2) top-mounted, fully adjustable 4-watt LED lighting heads. The LED heads are made of cast aluminum coupled with impact resistant tempered glass lenses.

Battery

This XPEH model includes two (2) extended runtime Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery packs which individually power the exit sign and floodlights. These combine to provide up to 3 hours of emergency runtime, and only requires 48-hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd batteries have the highest heat tolerance compared to other emergency batteries.

Two (2) sealed push-to-test switches on the front housing allow you to assess the readiness of each battery, exit sign, LED heads and circuit.
