Our Cold Weather Outdoor Emergency Light is the perfect UL924 compliant battery backup fixture for outdoor and indoor areas which feature cold temperatures. The "IH" in the SKU stands for "Internal Heater". This refers to the thermostatic battery heater that the unit comes with, which allows it to fully operate in environments that feature temperatures as low as -4º Fahrenheit.

Construction

The IEL-6-18-2LR-9W-IH has a self contained battery box constructed with a grey polycarbonate material that is corrosion resistant and UV-stabilized. Cold Weather Outdoor Emergency Light has two (2) adjustable 9.0-watt PAR36 lamps which lock into place to provide a full 360° directionality.

Battery Testing

The IEL-6-18-2LR-9W-IH comes with a maintenance free 6 volt sealed valve regulated lead acid batteries. These batteries are rated to keep the lighting heads illuminated for at least 90 minutes, and requires only 48-hours to fully re-charge.
