The JS Series combines a truly commercial-grade battery unit with the latest in energy efficient lighting solutions.
The 12JSC36-210LG has a compact 20-gauge steel battery cabinet, powder-coated with an off-white baked enamel finish which protects the body from impact and corrosion (black available upon request). This model includes two (2) top-mounted 4-watt LED MR16-style heads, which are molded from impact-resistant thermoplastic in a matching color. A convenient mounting pattern and several key hole slots are stamped on the rear, with conduit knockouts on the sides of each unit.
Battery
A maintenance-free 12 volt Nickel-Cadmium battery pack is Included with this commercial emergency lighting fixture. This shrink-wrapped package of rechargeable AAA-sized Ni-Cd batteries carries enough juice to run the heads for nearly four hours. The battery pack is covered under the three-year warranty and lasts approximately 8 years.
Maintenance Profile
A hinged cabinet door on the front of the cabinet provides quick access to the battery and charging circuit. For periodic CSA-mandated testing, a push-to-test switch on the side of the housing allows maintenance personnel to quickly ascertain the operational status of the fixture and lamp load. Above the switch is a dual diagnostic LED display indicating AC/ON and High Charge.
Save a little money on maintenance costs with the optional Autotest (AT) feature which constantly monitors the status of the battery voltage, input voltage, lamps, battery and switching circuitry. Autotest will also perform a 30-second test monthly and a 90-minute test every six months, per code. Choose between Audible and Non-Audible alarm settings.
