The SX-RW-BB is a lightweight, plastic battery backup sign that reads 'SALIDA' instead of the word 'EXIT' in bold red letters. It uses long-life, low power LEDs which can last as long as 25 years without replacement. It's snap-together design and universal single/double face makes installation easy - even your primo can hook it up.

Construction

The SX-RW-BB is constructed with a flame and corrosion resistant ABS plastic housing with a standard white finish. It includes two removable 'SALIDA' stencils and a solid backplate, so you can make this egress marker single or double sided. The stencil plates have knockout directional chevrons (arrows), so it can adapt to any exit strategy.

The LED Salida Exit Sign Red Letters includes a mounting canopy that allows you to mount to a ceiling or on the side of the sign for wall / flag mount configuration.

Battery

This SX-RW-BB model includes a maintenance-free, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack. It provides emergency backup power to the exit sign for at least 90 minutes, and only requires 24-hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd is the longest lasting battery type available, lasting an average of 15 years. 

A push-to-test switch and LED pilot light on the bottom of the exit sign housing allows you to test the emergency readiness of the fixture. The LED will flash if any fault is detected in the circuit, LED lights or battery.
