Your General Contracting company is building a coffee shop which is in need of emergency lighting fixtures. These emergency luminaires must create a "path of light" to the exits and highlight fire extinguishers, however, you don't want to clutter the low-slung ceiling.
This is a job for our space-saving Micro-Spot Recessed Can Emergency Light. This five (5) inch diameter battery backup can light in a new-construction housing features a bright 6-watt halogen MR16 floodlight that can be fully rotated and locked to project a beam of light in any downward direction.
Construction
The EFR2-WH-SP recessed downlight has a 5” trim ring (the part you see in the ceiling) with galvanized steel can, back plate and adjustable hanger bars for fitting into any drop-down T-bar or drywall ceiling. The recessed gimbal is constructed of durable, powder-coated, die-Cast aluminum and can be rotated by hand. A diagnostic switch on the bottom of the gymbal allows you to test the battery.
Battery
The EFR2-WH-SP includes a pack of 6-volt nickel cadmium batteries which carry a 15-year life expectancy. Ni-Cd batteries offer high discharge rates and perform better in extreme temperatures than sealed lead acid types.
