That's why we specially designed the CP-EMW-8-LED-BR, which has fully adjustable LED MR16 lighting heads behind a clear vandal resistant plate - it'll save you so much money in the long run! 

The MR16 LED Wet Location Emergency Light is perfect for most outdoor environment including parking garages, hosedown areas and heavy industry. If your location drops below 40°, we highly suggest you buy the Battery Heater (IH) option as well to prevent the battery from rupturing in freezing conditions.

Construction

The CP-EMW-8-LED-BR is designed with a pleasing rounded die cast aluminum backplate that is powder coated with a corrosion-resistant satin-aluminum finish. 

Protecting the two (2) 3.6W  MR16 LED heads inside is a clear, UV stabilized polycarbonate faceplate that is highly resistant to vandalism. The CP Series is UL Wet Location Listed and IP66-rated, and all connecting pieces are sealed with a silicone gasket that prevents dust, moisture or water from leaking into the fixture.

The MR16 LED Wet Location Emergency Light can be mounted to just about any wall or ceiling surface via a universal knockout pattern and key hole slots in the mounting backplate, which are also sealed with a neoprene gasket. For the optional I-beam mounting bracket, please call us at 800.282.5600.

Battery and UL Testing

The CP-EMW-8-LED-BR is packaged with a 6V Nickel Metal Hydride battery that supplies emergency power for at least 90 minutes. Ni-Mh gel-type batteries do not require top-offs or outgassing, and will last up to eight (8) years - almost 3 years longer than typical SLA batteries. This results in another added maintenance saving.

But what really gives you bang-for-your-buck is the advanced Autotest (AT) circuit which constantly monitors the lamps, battery voltage, input voltage and switching circuits. This microprocessor also performs UL-required maintenance tasks for you, including a 30-second test every month, and a 90-minute full battery discharge every six months.
