The CLX-RW-BB-RC is a versatile exit sign with an enlarged thermoplastic housing. The battery provide extra power, enough to support nearby remote heads. It is suitable for just about any indoor environment, and includes everything you need to install.

Construction

The CLX-RW-BB-RC is constructed with a flame and corrosion resistant 5VA thermoplastic housing in a standard white finish. It includes two removable red 'EXIT' stencil faceplates and a solid backplate, for single or double sided application. The stencil plates have knockout directional chevrons (arrows), and will adapt to any exit strategy.

The Remote Capable Red LED Exit Sign also includes a mounting canopy that allows you to mount to a ceiling or on the side of the sign for wall / flag mount configuration.

Battery

This CLX-RW-BB-RC model includes a 6-volt Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery pack. It has enough juice to power the sign, with an additional 11-watts of emergency backup power for remote fixtures, for a 90 minute duration. SLA batteries have a deeper capacity than any other battery type on the market, and take about 48 hours to fully recharge.

A push-to-test switch and LED pilot light on the bottom of the exit sign housing allows you to test the emergency readiness of the fixture. The LED will flash if any fault is detected in the circuit, LED lights or battery.
