The CLED-U-WH looks like a low profile exit sign, but actually has a recessed high-output LED strip that provides emergency egress lighting as well. This unique exit light cuts your installation costs in half, and it's long-life LED light source eases future maintenance. This fixture comes standard with a single red 'EXIT' faceplate, though you can select double-sided at checkout. 

Construction

The CLED-U-WH is constructed with an injection-molded thermoplastic housing with a white finish. The kit includes one (1) red 'EXIT' stencil faceplate with knockout directional chevrons, and one (1) solid backplate. Double face is available. It also comes with a plastic universal mounting canopy for wall surface or ceiling installations.

Our Super Bright Red Exit Sign Combo with LED Pipe features thirty-six (36) high-ouptut LEDs at the bottom of the exit sign, which are matted to an adjustable metal reflector. The LED pipe is protected by a clear thermoplastic snap-in shield.

Battery

This CLED-U-WH model includes a 4.8-volt 700 mili-amp/hour Nickel Cadmium (ni-cd) battery pack. These AAA sized cells last up to 15 years and will power the lights and sign for a minimum of 90 minutes. Re-charge time is 24 hours.

A push-to-test switch and LED pilot light on the side of the exit sign housing allows you to test the emergency readiness of the fixture. The pilot will flash if any fault is detected in the circuit, LED lights or battery.
