Tritium exit signs are a code compliant, non-electrical alternative that can be used both indoors and outdoors. They self-illuminate via a glowing type of hydrogen gas called ‘tritium’. The gas is enclosed in shatterproof borosilicate tubes and then arranged to spell the word ‘EXIT’. Tritium exit signs feature a 100-foot viewing distance and are available with the choice of a red, green, or black face. Frame color choices include white, black, and brushed aluminum and the signs are available in both single and double-sided configurations.
