Get the Vandal Resistant Outdoor Exit Light Combo with MR16 Lamps - built like a tank, CSA listed to UL924, and IP66 Listed for wet and high abuse locations. This sealed and gasketed sign includes two (2) bottom-mount MR16 emergency lights, so you can literally cut your fixture needs in half! Best of all, this combo comes standard with a Self Testing microprocessor that monitors the fixture readiness and reduces maintenance costs.

Construction

The NAV-C-12-42-20M-R-1-B housing is constructed from .420" thick heavy duty cast aluminum with an attractive matte black finish. A 1/8" thick clear polycarbonate shield protects the sign legend and keeps it clear of dust, liquid and debris. A neoprene gasket creates a watertight seal between the housing and lens, protecting the fixture from the ingress of water or dust. Two (2) adjustable bottom-mount, high-intensity 20W MR16 halogen lamps provide egress pathway illumination around the sign.

This Vandal Resistant Outdoor Exit Light Combo with MR16 Lamps includes a green or red 'EXIT' stencil and a polycarbonate face shield which protects the face from damage, dust and water intrusion. The shield comes standard with tamper resistant screws that can only be loosened with a special hex driver bit (included). A polycarbonate shell also protects the MR16 lamps from water or vandal damage.

Battery

This NAV-C-12-42-20M-R-1-B model includes a maintenance-free, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack. It provides emergency backup power to the exit sign for at least 90 minutes, and only requires 48-hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd batteries are also better suited for cold environments where sealed lead acid batteries could corrode or rupture.

By adding the Battery Heater option, the NAV-C-12-42-20M-R-1-B performs as a cold weather exit sign that can survive in temperatures as low as -4° F. Please note this will increase the product lead time one (1) extra week.
