The VRE-SA-LR can be mounted in all standard  configurations including wall surface (standard), ceiling canopy or flag canopy (please specify). Construction

The VRE-SA-LR housing is constructed from 14-gauge steel with an attractive epoxy-based white powder coat finish. The 'EXIT' legend is a composite of steel stencil, impact-resistant polycarbonate backing and protected fiber panel. This triple-layer of protection keeps the faceplate virtually indestructible to normal vandalism.

This Vandal Resistant Steel Exit Sign with Red Letters includes tamper-proof screws that can only be loosened with a special hex driver bit (included). Due to the heavy duty nature of the sign, please indicate at checkout which chevron orientation (left arrow, right arrow or both) your location requires.

Battery

This VRE model includes a maintenance-free, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack. It provides emergency backup power to the exit sign for at least 90 minutes, and only requires 48-hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd batteries are the longest lasting battery of its type, lasting around 15 years!

This exit fixture includes a push-to-test switch and LED pilot light for manual battery and lamp diagnostic. By selecting the Self Test option, 90% of the OSHA-required maintenance tasks will be taken care of automatically, saving you time and money in the long run.
