Construction

The OWLUXACSD is designed with a contoured aluminum housing coated with an off-white powder coat finish. A clear polycarbonate lens protects the 4 LEDs inside. The unit is fully gasketed and waterproof, qualified to NEMA 3R standards.

Illumination

The OWLUXACSD uses a 12-watt LED light source projects 640 lumens of emergency light, creating a 50ft path of light towards the exits.

Battery

The OWLUXACSD includes a Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-Mh) battery that is environmentally safe and does not contain mercury, lead or calcium. It also has a higher temperature range than SLA and Ni-Cd batteries.
